In the past few years, I have done a few sermon transcriptions. During the process, I found that there is no complete specification of Chinese sermons transcription on the Internet. I tried to make some norms myself and discuss them with brothers and sisters.

Title and article structure

This part of the specification takes the use of markdwon as an example, and the same is true for word documents.

Hierarchy

The title is divided into four levels

- 一级标题：文章的标题 
- 三级标题：文章主要部分的大标题 
- 四级标题：三级标题下面一级的小标题 
- 五级标题：四级标题下面某一方面的小标题

Why is starting with a secondary heading deprecated?

In the default font size rendering of each editor, the font size of the first-level heading is the largest, and the font size of the following headings becomes smaller in turn. Heading No. 2 is used in the main text, and is appropriate if the article is very long, such as a longer paper or book.
But in a sermon article, the amounts of words generally does not exceed 20,000 words. The main structure of the article generally does not exceed the third level, so that the main text starts with the second level title, and the font size is too large. Therefore, it is recommended to start with heading3.

in principle

Use headings in the body to avoid isolation, that is, there cannot be only one heading at the same level. Example: In the article structure below, 二级标题 A only one is included 三级标题 and can be completely omitted 三级标题 A.
